A friend of mine made a movie about daoc. It's not RvR so if you expect a pwnage 8vs8 movie don't bother downloading it.

It shows some old screenshots but mostly Catacombs things.

Looks like they've brought DAoC almost inline with gfx's of some of the newest games/mmorpg's.

apparently if you can run ToA you'll be fine with Catacombs.

Ya as far as I noticed the Cata client is lighter then the TOA client ... better use of DX9 I think.

Very nice movie! (thats a LOT of movie for 26 meg ).

Makes you appreciate what we take for granted is still very good - and cuts it with the best mmorpgs out there (plus its the only one I've played of Eve, WoW, EQ2 and DAOC where I actually feel "involved" in combat).

No there isn't but Gorre is open for internal testing and E&E's have access to that.

should be ok actually might lag a bit in inconnu crypt though I only lagged badly in early beta before they optimised a lot of the models.

Yeah, I got the same gfx card No cash to buy a new one neither, so I will have to stick with it, hope it will continue to run the game with ease like it has done for me in ToA

New items? Something to do while bored(taking a quest and finishing it..) New challanges as in mobs.. Trying Darkspire that is supposed to be the hardest FG challange ever in DAoC's PvE?
Oh and if your paying 50€ for an expansion.. you better find a better shop tbh
