people have scored "similar" goals in hockey yea, in NHL no (sidney crosby and a few others scored like that before they came to NHL). There was a goal like that in the NHL allstar break during skill competitions tho, but he came from infront of the net.

oddly enough i can say yes, we did it for PE in school (long time ago) and i havent heard of it since (until now)

hockey is a far better sport as it is tailored to playing on foot, rather than a mishmash of rules patched together to make icehockey without the ice
Its a very shallow view as i only played it a few times tho

As a former ice hockey player, I don't think floorball is all that "gay". It's fun and exciting, just like hockey. It started out pretty much as a recreational game that people played for fun, and as more and more started playing it grew into its own sport with rules and all.

I agree that hockey is more fun/special, but floorball is a hell of a lot more accessible in terms of equipment and play areas. I play it every monday, or at least when i don't have a foot tendon inflammation.
