BBQ them without cleaning with fresh chillis, paprika and onions. make garlic/chive mayo dip. pig out till you can move no more. if you're classy with some chilled white wine (generic, because the chillis and garlic will destroy your tastebuds), or a beer. or some water, of you're so inclined.

Water and chilli's do not mix. People who think they do are fools, or Trem.

Okay here's a dish I made yesterday with chicken, but I reckon you could use prawns aswell

Get ye olde wok out! Start out with a few tablespoons of good oil. When oil is warm add LOTS of curry! Stir about till the curry smell is all over the kitchen and then add the prawns. When the praws are done you add veggies.. I used a bag of frozen wok mix and it worked out fine. Meanwhile the veggies are defrosting and cooking start making some rice/noodles/whatever on the side. When the veggies are almost done you add coconut milk. Like a can or so. Now just let it simmer for a while and add chili, garlic(if you feel like it), salt and pepper. I added some fresh spring onions just at the end so it would still be a bit crunchy

When your rice or whatever is done, what I did with my noodles, was to drain the water and pour it into the dish and mix it all up

Takes 15-20 minutes and it's the easiest dish ever!

Still have some left in the fridge, could take a picture for ya if you'd like? :p

Not when cooking mate, I mean drinking water to sooth your mouth after eating hot food. You need milk or beer or wine, not water!

Unless you want to clear tastebuds to taste other spicey foods.

Like say, at a buffet or some such.

Water is essentially a "clearer" and nothing else.

Can't understand people who think water is a "drink with food" for ONE course dinners.

So essentially, in cases, i agree :D

oh, that's not what I meant. I mean, I drink lots of water or cordial all the time, aka also during meals that may contain chilli. Someone may not always have a beer handy you know :)

While I kinda approve of your dish I dont approve that you add chili and garlic in the end. it should be in with the oil and curry for extra flavour :)

I usually put the spices etc in with the oil too, although garlic can be a bit dodgy as it burns sometimes.

The pan will take on the flavour, although if it burns then generally the heat is too high.

Best way is to marinate your meat in things like chilli garlic and ginger to really get a fully taste from them as well.

I didn't add garlic, but it is totally optional, that's why cooking is so great :)

off top of my head i'd make something like this:
garlic, ginger, fresh chilli chopped up through them in and cook prawns in wok, add some veg whatever you like i'd go for mangetout, green beans, spring onions (essential) something with crunch anyway, while cooking some noodles, put some sesame oil in the noodles when cooked, rice wine (i prefer shao shing but dry sherry or something but also not essential i just like the bittersweet it gives to meat) and light soy sauce with the prawns and then add some pineapple and its juice let it reduce a bit so it goes sticky, maybe squeeze of lime in there too. throw it all together and you'll have a healthy and delicious sweet and sour type thing :) but if you're going asian make sure you use the holy trinity of garlic, ginger, chilli, they are essential:p

Is a tiger prawn the same thing as a king prawn?
