Converting video clips etc

All,

I made a video clip on my mobile phone last night and it's been saved as a .3gpp file - can anyone point me in the direction of a tool (hopefully free) that will simply convert one video format into another?

I want to distribute the clip to my mates, who will all likely to have an XP box with WMP on it (so converting to .wmv would be ideal).

Any suggestions welcome.

Quicktime (prolly need pro but i'm sure u can acquire it...) can convert it to a variety of types. As can Xilisoft video converter also not free, but theres prolly a trial.
