On the October 1st I order a desk online. It was a part of their special next day delivery range. The following day when it hadn't arrived I phoned them up and they said they were out of stock but it could be delivered some time next week. I told them I was canceling the order, they said fine and I would see the money back in my account within 3-5 working days.

I got a phone call today from the delivery firm saying they had tried to deliver it on Friday but I was out and was I in now to receive it. I told them I wasn't in and I would phone them back. I checked my bank account and the money isn't back in my account and its now been more than 5 working days.

I just want my money back with the minimum of fuss. What do I do?

Phone the desk company, complain, refuse the delivery.
