Hi folks I have recently returned to DAoC and over the last week have had alot of occasions when I have been dumped to my desktop. Each time when trying to restart the game I get as far as account login and then I get a message saying "rendering failure". After I restart the PC all seems ok, until the next time. Last night I could not log my BD into DF, each time the game started it froze and then I had to restart again. I had no such problems 18 months ago and in an effort to resolve it I have reduce all models, water and trees to classic, reduced shadows to minimum and turned everything else to as low as poss. I am using a Radeon 9200 Pro 256mb G-Card and have the latest Omega drivers.
I seem to have no other lag problems, the game runs smoothly. The last time this happend was last night when running in Jordheim (hardly graphic intensive and no spells going off) the game and Ventrilo dumped totally.
All in all it has been very frustrating, any ideas of how to resolve this please.

p.s. on another note I cannot log my Thid Skald in at all, I click play and the figure freezes then a few seconds later it resets and I am back at char selection. He is in Thid and was in there before NF, so is that the problem?
