And it would just happen to be the one my beloved 50th level Skald is on.
Alas, I find that if i connect to Prydwen Midgard I go link dead from between 0 and 30 minutes. The 1st 2 blobs on the perf meter (is that what it's called?) go red, and then I'm chucked out to the load up screen with the message, 'Your client has stopped recieving messages from the server'
Normally i would blame this on my ISP (NTL Broadband), but I've run a ping route thingy (not the most computer literate am i?) and the connection reads fine. Also I can connect to any other GOA server without ever having a problem! Surely the same route would be used to each server by my ISP leaving the blame for the fault at GOA's door?
I've been emailing GOA, but 3 weeks in and i'm no further forward.
Thought i would ask you boffins?
Strangely a friend of mine who lives just down the road has the same problem as me with the excalibur server.
Any advice/things to try, sure would be appreciated.

oh yes my system is
Via motherboard
512 meg ram
1.3 duron processor
Radeon 9100 graphics card
windows 98
