Connecting to servers

Can anybody tell us why when I goto PLAY ONLINE in CS and select one of the BW servers it says can't connect to server?????? Sometimes its ok but more often than not it won't connect. I have to play via the quick start and let it connect me to any server.. peeing me off no end..
