.... for being able to keep Darkness Falls for aprox. 30 minutes.

When and why did we stop careing about Darkness Falls?
Now we just let Albion go there and gladly fram platina after platina. Next time we see them in emain, thet all have MP armors with fancy procs all over.

Well, I guess we need some added boosts to the Albion RvR Machine, from a Mid point of view.

This saturday efforts were made to retake DF. Of 127 level 50 online, 9 showed up. Guess if we managed taking Eras? Yeah, right! A /who emain gave "List truncated, to many matches (30)"

Fact(?) : Midgard is all about RP

Why am I this upset? Because I _now_ need 1 damn platina to finish my SC. Been farming like crazy all week and waiting for DF to open. We all know DF is THE place for farming money. And when I now get in the door slams shut behind me DOH.
I also know how boring it is to take empty keeps with no direct personal gain in it. But, whatta... go play a FPS if you care jack shit about your realm

Where are the former pride in Midgard?

Telling u the facts . Albs will come out 5 in the mornings take keeps almost every day. So if you want df try organize a defence at that time, but bit hard when u do /who and find 11 lvl 50 online and albs attacking with 2fg +.

bassiclly as long as all mid keeps are ours i coulden't care less to go take keeps in alb or hib.if you want to take a keep,ask around,make a cg and go take a keep?but who will defend it if everyone goes farm in df?
seems to me that the only thing you're interested in is personal gain and that you coulden't care less about the realm and the keeps except when you need DF.but that's just me offcourse

Yes, I am the one whining here on Barrys-whine-world and I want into DF for MY personal gain. But get a grip, do I want DF for my self?!? What better place is there for farming money to aid players in their effort getting spellcrafted suits? Or for getting XP at lower levels?

The fact still stands, there are no general will in taking and keeping DF in Midgard and I think it´s a shame we let Albion kick us around in the dirt. And as stated before, of 172 lv 50 online when Albs had Glenlock, 9 showed up to get some alb keeps. 30 others ran around in Emain some had their loot-hunts in Tuscaran (I respekt that) and others banged their head against the walls of a well defended Glenlock with active CS, like newborn stupid trolls. (It would have been tactics to get some alb-keeps to force them from Glen, but like magic 9 showed will when the Alb keep taking CG were announced in the def cg, others logged when they realised we couldn´t get Glen back at that moment)

Dunno where the motivation has gone? Perhaps down the drain with 1.62.

Yeah but newborn stupid trolls that realise realm defence is more important, especially when that level 10 keep can be used as a base to capture more Midgard keeps, making sure we not only get DF, but make it damn easy for em to get our relics too.

The people who used to go get us DF still try, but alot have left the game or just given up, 90% of the realm these days is either some fotm /level 20 from excal, or some lvl 50 fotm bound in emain.

They say it on other boards and tbh its true, Mid/Pryd is becoming Alb/excal. Theres still lots of people out their trying to retake keeps, but the majority just cba

[edit]I remeber the same thing happened a while ago, when hibs took all pow relics and albs had all str relics, nobody gave a shite, tbh i think its just the summer and the influx of ubar Bonedancers and Savages, wait till september / nerfbat ;x, or try organize some keep raids yourself, theres lots of guilds that would help you im sure

It´s tactics to force albs from our realm by starting to take their keeps. Instead than just running and dying on Glen over and over again, and by no means lowering the amount of Albs in Glen. But perhaps you had THE Master Defence Plan with that?

Yes, I hope it´s a tendency of the summer. Didn´t see the same tendence last summer, but then there weren´t many 50´s around and I think RvR was totally dominated by Mid.

I didn´t try organizing raids myself, but several attempts were made by other players..... with very huge response, NOT.

Well, guess it´s still considered to be summer, even tho I´m back at work again.

I wasn't even on the raid where people were banging on the doors for ages, as some of us have never stopped being in work (lousy heatwave )

I was on the attack where we actually got Glenlock back from the albs by, erm use of tactics

I think its a sign that there still is some pride in midgard that people are willing to die over and again than have a level 10 keep with a CS in our frontier, even if the tactics can be called into question lol.

DF control is a good measure on how much stronger Albion is compared to Midgård and Hibernia. Individual performance will not change the fact that the albs are the winners of the realm wars.

Even though the summer is here, I would be surprised if the situation changed much in the future. Albs kept control of DF approx 50-60% of the time during the first 6 months after DF was introduced and that was when the mids had the original crews quite intact. Change? I doubt it, the albs have a numerical superiority that you cant do much about any longer. You better accept that mids has been soundly defeated by the albs.

Well, won´t flame you more after this, but what I´m talking about is 2 fgs running to Glen over and over again for no use. Just made the Albs happy. And when realizing they couldn´t take it, most just logged instead of taking undefended, tho claimed, keeps in Albion. Taking keeps at that time would very much have disturbed Albs in Glen and Albs in generall, preventing them from porting to Odin´s. Nah, just log and let others do the hard work. I logged too eventually, didn´t have the energy to bitch entire Midgard at that time. Now i do *hehehehe*

Good work in reclaiming Glen although, must have been a huge mid force?
