It was definately worth the day out though. To see Wembley, 20 cans of blackthorn, the stopping every 30 mins in the bushes and service stations, the burgers, the hot-dogs, the kareoke in the van, the abuse towards Hull fans with their stupid face paints. It was worth every penny.
I feel happy for Hull going up, but I also feel sorry for them also as it must be a tad daunting to be a side with some of it's experience apparently about to retire due to age and need to be replaced with adequate players intime for possibly the toughest league in the world. I can honestly see them getting battered 5-0 every game next season, which I can understand maybe seen as a bitter whine but it's not, and when you look at Sunderland who spent 40m last season and survived the relegation by 3pts, it's a tough league for a newcomer to enter.
