I hope someone can answer this question.
I've been running thru my autoexec and doing a few tweaks as recommended on a CS web site.
I've managed to get my FPS up to an average of 99.4 which I'm quite pleased about.
However - I can no longer see my weapons.
I have r_drawviewmodel "1" in my autoexec which should allow me to see the player weapon model but Its not there.
Are there any other settings that may have stopped the r_drawviewmodel "1" from working or override this setting ?
One thing I notice is that although I can get away with using gl_texturemode "GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_LINEAR " cos I have a GF3 and the general gfx quality is great - the peripheral items displayed on screen like hp, the shoppin cart for buying and the weapon selection icon etc are really bad quality. I dont mind that too much but I added this info to this post as I thought it might have something to do with my problem.
The only other thing I have done is change my screen resolution to 800 X 600 from 640 X 480 (its usually 800x600 anyway but It went back to 640 after I tweaked).
Any takers ?
