Config change to BW public servers

Guys,

The above needs changing, as currently it is too easy to kick players. This occured to me and another player, when joining bw ctf1, only 2 players on their, and i was immediately booted off, so they could continue dueling.

Such abuse of the kick vote is utterly abhorent, and I would ask that you make a change to the servers, to prevent trigger happy egomaniacs from doing this again.

Such behaviour would make me inclined not to use BW servers, if it happened again.

Did you change it Poker because I've just been on the TAC server and tried to change mission, it said vote failed because 1 for, 2 against and -2 abstentions despite the fact it was just me there. If so does map voting need to be included?

Yes, and yes, unfortunately. They all take the same vote settings. It is currently set to a minimum 3 votes as you've seen. The side effect of making servers takeover-proof in this way is that you won't be able to vote maps on by yourself. The setting is under review atm obviously, I'll leave you to thrash it out between yourselves.

Diff settings could be done in the mods (BWAdmin / TAC) if someone was prepared to tackle it..

Yup hopefully the minimum of 3 votes will have solved the take-over problem, if anyone sees take overs again then let us know. What I don't understand is why this has suddenly become a problem now? AFAIK we are using the same vote settings as before the BWAdmin 5 install.
