It'll feel normal then. Jason Momoa is wooden and has no range.
SG:Atlantis and Game of Thrones show a lack of range.
That's not to say he's a bad actor. He's just not got much scope to expand his character in those roles.
Big, muscled, monotone, stoic... all words we can use to describe his characters.

Keith Hamilton Cobb played a similar character in "Andromeda", but he could actually act his way out of a paper bag. :)

why are you tying to magically fish out "fanboys"? (rhetorical question)
You seem to be desperate for a troll fight lately.

Couldn't find another thread about it(read: more recent).

Good enough for what it is, not as bad as made out to be, could've been better for last part.

Entertaining and better then the original movie(in my opinion).

Well, it was entertaining enough. But what bothered me, was that the one playing Conan was waaay to small for the roll! :p

I've just watched it. Very meh.

They ruined the character, tried to make him too nice. The start was good with him as a boy, but it went downhill from there. They built up the bad guys daughter and hinted that she might betray him, and nothing came of that. The mask was utterly pointless, the badguy turned into a weaker opponent once he had it. Not a patch on the original Arnie films.

I thought the character worked. He is not just a broody vam...barbarian, but also a thief and still relatively young and as such, womanisingand with a bit of a thief style side.

I think they went with a book reference, instead of an arnold reference in it.

The end i agree with, they completely negated the dauhgter and the mask.

Just watched it.

Terrible, on a near tragic scale.
