I suspect there are quite a few Firefly fans on here so just wanted to draw to your attention a project by Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion to create a comedy series based around their convention experiences. It's quite Meta as they play a Captain (Nathan) and Pilot (Alan) of a cancelled SciFi series where the Captain has gone on become a successful star leaving the Pilot on the convention circuit.

They were looking for $425k and so far have raised over $1.1m in about 2 days.

$75 average donation, damn that's high especially on 30 days left. I'd estimate around 2-2.5mil on this.
