Motoring Completely OT..car help!

Hey hey.

So my car just failed it's MOT. Among other things the headlights are apparently fucked and I need new units so if anyone knows where I can new nearside and offside headlight units (just the casings I eman, got the bulbs and stuff already) on the cheap I'd be eternally grateful! 1997 Volvo S40!

ring your local scrapyard mate.

Thats where I always go first.

Usually costs loads less if you can get the parts from there and dont mind sticking them in yourself. I remember when some prat stuck a scaffolding pole through the drivers side window of my old Ford Escort and it went out the passenger window.

Cost me about £20 at scrappys for both windows and stuck em both in myself

Will be doing that tomorrow mate. Can stick in the housings myself, it's not a huge or complicated job. Had a look on ebay and they're £70 EACH! Just for a bit of metal and glass!
