ok so my brothers comp was totally full of crap and randomly rebooting and shit, not had a format in a year and a half so i decided to format it for him and he agreed.

then when i tried to format it gave me some strange error llike cant format programs still reading drive contents (or something like that) so i tried by using win xp cd to format that way. same prob

i then try to reinstall windows without formating, wich wouldnt work either because the comp kept freezing up all the time at random points in the install

i then decided to format it using my comp, wich worked fine, but when i put the hdd back in the other comp to reinstall windows i got the following error before even getting so far as to the windows install:

NTLDR missing
press ctrl+alt+del to reboot

this comes up after the bios screen and i rly dont know wtf it means. but basicly all i can do on the comp atm is to enter bios (wich i suck at operating)

HELP :/

assuming hdd is the 1 where windows needs to be installed onto

1.insert win xp cd in cd drive (rar :D )
2.set your CD drive as boot up option in bios
3.reboot
4.press any key to start win xp setup
4.press a key

and i hope how you continue from here :fluffle:
