McClaren needs to go, there is no question about that.
They just werent playing decent football. As Shearer said about the last goal, why was no one breaking their necks to get in the way or tackle the goal scorer? We need a manager who the players can get behind and finally start playing with some passion and determination, rather than looking like they are going to shit themselves.
Gerrard tried hard but was poor. Lampard did nothing all game, and yet he plays so damn well for chelsea. Bridge was totally useless and cost us the second goal imo.
Crouch and cole were the best players if you ask me, but overall Croatia were a far better side

They should be recruited on performance not their names or who they play for, you all know the ones i am talking about

English players never, ever seem to put the effort into playing as other teams. They seem to expect they'll turn up and win by default.
So much skill on that pitch and it wasn't working at all. I've nobody to watch in the next championship now thanks to all the home nations being SHIT.

that was utterly appalling. i did say england wouldnt qualify in an earlier post but after the russia v israel result looked like i was gonna be proved wrong.
why the hell.. when we got back to 2-2 did we take the foot off the gas? coulda won the damn game. why oh why was every ball into the box via the ariel route? (granted crouches goal was pure PURE class).. but everything else was dogshit.
was only beckham and crouch showed any real heart, gerrard and lampard well i think that proves once and for all that you keep those 2 well away from each other. i thought they were noted for scoring goals from outside the box? did u see any efforts on a skiddy pitch by england?
as for our goalkeeper situation.. lol.. i think the scots can now claim england goalies are crap beyond relief, god knows they had it for long enough.
need more players in team who WANT to play for england and show some damn pride.. not just turn up and get another cap and appearance fee.
as for Steve Mclaren: yes i will have fries with that you useless excuse of a manager. the pissed bloke on the bus could do a better job, and he was so pissed he said jackie milburn should start up front.
