Ive basically made a zip out of all the maps for a game I play. This can be extracted directly into the relevant folder installing all the files in their correct locations. Ive decided to go one step further to being even more lazy but making a batch that when I run will unzip the files for me. Kinda a double click and job done sort of thing. Im struggling to find a freeware command line unzip utility. Ive got unrar from Rarsoft but this is rar files only. Before I really give up just use this I was wondering if anyone has found or knows of a freeware unzip utility. Ive tried some win32 compiled versions of tar etc but these crash and cause my computer to hang.

Can you not still get an old old version of pkunzip, stalwart of MSDOS days :)

pkunzip -rapex - the number of times I must've typed that.
