Command and Conquer 3 Announced

In the June issue of US version of the PC Gamer magazine, Command and Conquer 3 will be revealed followed by an official announcement from EA.

Apart from the odd screenshot of what is going to be displayed in the magazine there are no confirmed details of what can be expected in C&C 3.

I'm just glad the series is continuing, and will be buying it regardless. This bodes well for Red Alert 3.

Tiberium Sun and Red Alert 2 were pretty poor though, I must admit.

Red Alert was so and so
Tiberium sun was utter crap
Red Alert 2 was so and so
Generals was pretty good.


Although i think Dune 2 was the game that set the standards. (Dune 1 was a rpg)

quite enjoyed RA2, enjoyed some of the maps. Yuri revenge was an add on I think that was ok.

dune2 was pretty good but there were some serious flaws in the AI that meant you could literally always use one tactic and win regardless.

It's all been downhill since RA1 imho. Supreme Commander will knock its socks off.

The sense of panic when you're playing on a LAN game and you suddenly hear the drone of an approaching swarm of zephyrs....horrible.
