coming back to DAoC

Hello all,

I have decided to start playing DAoC again!
I started playing when beta was running, and quite a bit onwards, the reason why I had to stop was some IRL-stuff I had to overcome...

and I must say that I really miss the enviroment!

some might know me, others dont... anyway a greeting from me!

Before I left, I had a level 50 paladin, some lower alts, level 50 enchanter and yet some lower alts.

Now I want to give midgaard a chance :)

So, I am looking for a guild to help me back to near where I was.
With advices, equipment and some fast leveling if possible.

I, like most experienced people dislike the lower levels :D

there have been quite alot of patches, turning upside down on most of the classes, and me not being so familiar with the Midgaard-classes, id like to know if some of them has been severely hurt?
I planned on starting a Shaman, Zerker or/and Thane

so if any guild (perferly a RvRminded) wouldnt mind helping me getting started again I will dedicate my time with moneyfarming, RvRing and crafting in exchange for starting equipment and powerleveling :)

Hello

Zerkers best melee to play ;)

Shammy now owns with end regen, groups wont be a problem for you.

if you got 2 accounts and want fast lvling, make a zerker and an cave/aug shaman or mend/aug shammy.

SOL you really are gay irl ok :moon: ;)

And yeah with decent gear you can speed through yellow cons without as much as a breather, oranges are pretty easy on average aswell

Depends on your spec, 50 axe 50 l axe 28 parry zerkers struggle alot more in pve then i do but their doublefrosts do about 2% more then mine ^^

Unless your Arnor then you cant hit in the 1st place.

Oh and ffs dont make a troll, its such a waste ;)

Well, i have started a zerker .. and he's a troll :D

he is big, he is bad, and he is ... level 8 ;)
I wanted the name Greyrock, but it was taken, so was Cancer, and Smoking ... the two last things could make some great Deathspam

Alb was killed by Cancer :clap:

havent decided yet if I want 50/50/28 or 44/44/44...
I think ill go for 50/50/28 and some RAs that I havent studied much yet ...

atm im fine with equipment, some nice fella ran past me and gave me 10 gold in my 3rd season, so I got 2 gold self, 2 redcon axes, Yellow armour all in good quallity except the boots :)

but the levels below 20 is still as boring as it used to be :) !
You really cant feel your char at that level

and im still on lookout for a guildie :)

Sorry Aesirs Blade doesnt accept troll zerkers only norse and dwarfs.

Troll zerkers gimpyness offends me too much o_O

troll's arent gimps.... they have low qui = harder 1st hit.. anmd how many hits do you most often get off before targets gets killed by someone? not alot.. besides they are big, gets targeted fast keeping your shammys/healers/runies from beeing targeted.

I solo'd side by side with a norsezerker, I must admit that I missed more than him, proably because of my red axes, and lower dex, but he was wearing Orange spellcrafted quipment only, and I was still faster done than him.. and I guess in the end, it doesnt matter much if you are troll or norse...

my interest for RvR is to dish out most damage in the shortest amount of time... and our con should be the same atleast, if not more for the troll ...

also you might have one evade more than me, but I kill the enemy a lil faster ... think the outcome is the same... I do evade atleast once per mob already

I get quite alot of hits in as the Albs/Hibs are too busy beating the trolls up it leaves me with a free hand to 2 shot all the casters ^^

Don't listen to a word Poon says, what does he know he's only a lvl 50 zerka :p. Troll zerka's rock (no pun intended) especially when they turn into hapster mode. Nothing draws the attention of a tank off me than a roar and a giant hampster suddenly shitting all over the battlefield (you know what neat feaks those hibs are :)).

People on the whole are friendly enough as long as you get off on the right foot. If you want an RvR guild you might wanna try NP they seem to have become fairly active in emain again.

You know, its the whole big fish in a small pond thing :)

Thanks for your contribution, but I have heard that NP isnt recruiting, even tho I remember them from way back, and their policy sounds like a fitting guild for me.

Tho we cant have it all can we ? :(

any NP-officer or GM who can confirm this ?

Aesirs Blade is recruiting but you do need two members to vouch for you and if youve been in Alb most of your daoc life thats going to be a problem.

I guess I have been more in Alb than in Hib, but its been like 5 months since I last played ....

I have had a level 50 in both alb and hib realm, and now want one in mid too :)

I beat oni and dueling sven would be unfair as he's only low lvl ;)
