I've met him at the Qatar Open, and I know other people who have who worked behind the scenes there, he really is a twerp.

But nobody will ever rival Federer. That guy is a real asshole.

And Sharapova is a prima-donna, very unpleasant.

It's mainly to do with the fact that he WAS good enough to win Wimbledon, tennis-wise. It's just that the ponce cannot handle any pressure, and folds for no reason. This is why we hate him so. He has the talent, but cannot stand the heat: making him largely pointless.
