collision detection/melee dmg

    Why is collision detection handled client side but combat handled server side. If there is one thing that makes me /rageexit its running behind someone spamming attacks. Collision detection wont let me past them, the attack animation plays but, OUT OF RANGE. Your current target should be an important packet of information that is kept upto date on the client side.

    If a RDPS wants to see how bad it is then get a m8 to run along then you run level with them. On their screen you will probably be 10 to 20 feet behind. The true gap probably being around 10 feet. I.e out of melee range.
