The bbc report said the crash was too bad to confirm (so far) how many people had died. That's pretty fucking awful tbh :\

Words cannot describe how gutted I feel right now. The first of my true heroes to pass on to the next world. I'm hoping he's ragging the nuts off an Integrale on the great forest stage in the sky.

(Yes I do mean a 'Grale not a Scooby. They're just better OK).

A lot of respect to be had for someone like Colin Mcrae. He's done a lot for rallying and racing in general, and the loss of another great british sportsman will be felt worldwide.

I can't see it not being him, unfortunately - common sense dictates that someone would have tried to contact Colin and if he was ok, he'd have reported back "yeah, I'm fine" or something. As this hasn't happened, I can only fear the worst.

RIP Colin.

Times Online is reporting that he died with his 5 year old son, however says his wife and daughter were not on board. So, so tragic, I can't start to describe it.

and light aircraft crashes as well.

r.i.p. colin, never a fan of rallying myself but you can't deny the man's talent.

As my dad said: he's lived a good full life and done a lot of dangerous things, but there were 4 people on board. What about his kids?

Getting pretty close to a confirmation now. :(
