My dad either puts the phone down next to him and stops talking leaves it untill they hang up. Or tires to sell them a train ticket says stuff like the day time saver will get you to liverpool street for £8.90 but you can only use it after 10 ect. he can go on about that shite for hours.

i put the phone down as soon as i hear the pause..

but i gota pal at work who just chats to them..the conversation i hear is usually like this "no i really dont need double glazing because i already have it..... hmm . well yes that does sound a very good deal ... yes but i already have it .. erm no its not wooden its PVC .. so how much would that cost .. ah yes my address is .. at this point i usually snatch the phone off him and hang up ...

he says somthing like .. what you do that for thats rude, i wasnt gonna buy anything ..

feel sorry for him when he is at home and gets call like that .. he prolly got like 35 phone contracts going

I don't get them often but I find, no thanks I'm not interested and hanging up works.

They don't usually ring back.
