Okay so I'm getting way way beyond sick and tired of playing videos or listening to music beyone 192kbps and having the things stutter. My computer will just pause them randomly like a stutter and not stop it no matter how many programs I shut down. Doing a computing degree I should know really but what codec packs do people here use? Before getting my new CPU, everything was fine.
Don't know how you all feel while listening to music, I absolutely love it but when it stutters, I feel like throwing my computer out the damn window.
It can't be a problem with my setup, music has been fine over the past 10 years on various setups, it's just this new one that it seems to detest (think I installed the wrong codec pack when I reinstalled windows). VLC, WMP, no matter what I try, they all do the same.
Also, if anyone runs linux (Ubuntu) could they let me know which codec pack to use there as well?
