Code of conduct ?

Is there a code of conduct for moderators or are they allowed to act after there own views ?

Read that post from Lhyme and the one Smid posted regarding Flimgoblin closing a thread cause he thought it was sucky.
In my ears thats not a reason it's just his opinion and I dare to say that personal opinions shouldn't be a cause for closing a thread.

So sucky is mentioned in those guidelines as a cause for closing a thread then I guess ?

No, but then neither does it say I should come here as an admin to ban people who flame the mods.... go and find a dictionary and read about the word 'judgement'.

We are not talking about flaming mods here, we are talking about closing a thread because he felt it was sucky.

He isn't even mentioned in the thread he closed because he thought it was sucky .

Flim closed the thread because he felt it should be closed in his judgement. That's good enough for me, as I know he has sound judgement. Go and understand what 'judgement' means. Nowhere in the definition will it mention that a mod can only exercise 'judgement' if they are named in the thread they are 'judging'. Now shut up and stop whinging or I'll ban this alt account aswell.
