Advice Co-Op / RTS / FPS LAN games ?

Hey guys,

So, about 7 years ago myself and a couple of friends used to LAN regularly - we played a bunch of RTS's and a few FPS's and RPGs..

Naturally we've all moved apart, but myself and one other find ourselves in the same territory again and we're feeling nostalgic..

So.. I was wondering if folk fancied recommending games they thought worth playing on LAN for 2 players ? We've been out the loop a loooong time and don't know what's out there - we're bound to go back to Generals and Warcraft 3, but it'd be cool to try something new

Does GTA have a decent multiplayer these days ?! Does Rainbox 6 still exist ? (I know they do, but are the worth playing with 2 players?)

Any tips for decent games worth LAN-ing for 2 players would be sweet.

I always liked heroes of MiMa when we used to lan in the "old days", though it could get a bit boring later in the game when turns took ages. Chess-type clock helps with that, self regulation

No idea on the new heroes though.

Oh and ofcourse...starcraft!
