I had to set my resolution to 1152*864, and then enter the command line -windowed in my CM4 Shortcut, works ok now, as i say apart from the "lag" going thru results and tactics

Picked it up friday lunchtime from tescos (as far as i could get in my lunch break) and played it all afternoon on my lunch break.
Lots of little bugs, getting the patch now, hopefully it will rectify most of them.
I'm playing with only the english leagues, its the same speed at when 01/02 had all leagues running with a maxed db.. not impressed with that.
THe 2d pitch is nice, only watched one game with it and its basically real time and a bit boring/time consuming. I watch most games at fast pace with the highlights now.
Its a lot harder than before, like was said above, the injuries do seem way over the top :/
Playing as cambridge in my first game, got no money, cant seem to get a good run of games, had to sell to buy - not looking good!
Its a perfect laptop game for me, it'll be the reason behind my lack of productivity for a good few months i should imagine...
Gray, CM4's windowed mode *is* 1024*768, which may have something to do with why you couldnt run it windowed when your res was 1024*768....

heh maybe, im running my res at 1152*864 now, looks good.
I cant say i noticed anything speedwise with the 3.4 update tho... it still runs like a bag o' shit on the same things as before
