Ok the title already says what i need to say, was just a thought that we elect a leader/leaders, WHO organise RVR events such as RR's etc as the main thing.

Just wanted to say would people want to volunteer to be a RVR leader who organise everything?

I certainly would like to do it, but just thought if we got a few dedicated people who would like to do this as a team.

Reply here if you would like to help me out with this. Just would be nice if we could actually include special events into RVR which doesn't usually happen.

It could be relics raids.
Taking back keeps in your own frontier.
Organising realm mission attempts.
Just things like this our team/group could organise to make RVR a little bit more organised.

So just say if you would be interested in taking part in trying to organise such RVR events.

Just thought since you have people like goodold bluesky who runs planned PVE events why can't we have a team of dedicated players who would like to organise RVR events since it is 50% of the game.

Anways thx for listening and just sign up below if your interested.
These events will probably be organised in game time, so i will hopefully get in touch with anyone who signs up.

Well Brad its all down to will people listen to these new leaders, people listend to the old leaders cause they made them listen not by being rude and stuff but by being great and not complaining at silly things so how would you be able to do this what would make people want to listen to you? (btw im not being nasty or anything im just saying you have to think will people actually listen to you).

BTW Great idea would be good to see and i could help by teling things youve missed and stuff like i ust to with other people :) ASK DURGI and BELORFYN WITHOUT ME THEY WAS NOTHING HAHAHA na im only jokin :) you 2 guys taught me how to rock :)

Well ive done a FEW relics raids already and i know what im doing. I think i do anyways lol.

Just if we actually made a special ( team of somesort) People would listen.

Well thats what i think, just need either me alone or some well known people to come help out.

But keep signing up because i think this plan has potential to be quite effective.

it all comes down to who's leading. if the team is build up by what i think is real morons i wouldn't listen to them at all. if it on the other hand consists of ppl i think are good leaders and know what they are doing i would listen to them. team or no team. simple as that.

Brad I will always think of you of a moron (j/k) ;) but we still lubs ya tho hehe :D

Oh and i plan to be a little more active in rvr stuff soon too - prolly gonna drop some pve stuff to be more active in the frontiers so gimme a shout anytime m8 :)

On a serious note (ok yes shock horror I can be serious at times) no leader can be as effective if they are leading on "their own" as you put it. All leaders need "staff/generals/commanders" etc. Leaders need ppl they can trust to delegate tasks to: holding a tower, guarding a choke point etc etc.

Ok thanks m8, It was quite nice the first time we did an RR together. Even thlough we didn't really know what we were doing lol we still planned it out quite well.

And after that we had a couple time at Renaris but got out zerged, BUT goodjob for mids trying thlough.

When clustre come we can start making some official plans for doing something.

And when i first read (Brad I will always think of you of a moron) It brang a tear to my eye :) But then i saw you were joking.

Well i have no experince what so ever how RR raiding or how to much effective way to take a keep down works now.

But as leader u need to be strict and tell how to do stuff, repeat is good also.
But its easier now then old days, since BG thing with yellow text.

But you dont need a support team as u name it, or i wouldnt call it like that.

You pop online, you wanna raid. Ask some friends or some of them online that wants to raid also to help, like can anyone lead a group to XX etc.

Always check with the rams, /bg groups and u can write down on a textfile on how many rams eatch group has etc... :)

Mebbe not a support team Blejs but as you say you need ppl you can rely on for stuff like ram teams, ppl scouting areas (and inside keeps) for enemy, groups that can hold a keep side door to stop inc, and prolly most importantly a strong group that can actually carry a relic home :)

trying to organize everything by one self is bound to fail. Telling where to raid, and assign groups to certain tasks, sure, that's well doable and necessary.

though there's always stuff that should be left to be done by lower "ranks"

a prime example that occured at every single raid so far is, when the raid leaders are discussing the course of action etc. and the average grunt doesn't get to see anything of all the things that're going on. For the leaders it's a busy, hectic situation, the grunts get bored because no one tells them and nothing seems to happen. Add some reporters to the leader discussion and let them tell the grunts what's going on and people are generally happy, they still don't do anything, but the amount of afk or leaving people is significiantly lower.
Very similiar to what's going on at GOA probably, for them it's all hectic, for us it's the gloom and doom boredom.

but overall it did get a lot easier to lead now ;)

I thought a group carrying a relic couldnt run with any speed at all - dunno if its changed in a recent patch tho as ive never carried one anyway.

you can run at speed like always

you cannot

- dive
- stealth (unless it's the ML10 Blanket of Camouflage)
- teleport

with a relic

think a relic will drop -or- the action is prevented.

Ok i look forward to it blue. / Hands blue some cookies

Tbh im really excited about this. I feel like i wanna actually do something where people can get enjoyment from.

Like what blue does, he wouldn't lead his raids if he didn't enjoy them. Right?

I just feel i want to be something different and put some effort in making our realm better.

Anyways take care everyone in mid, and i hope to see you lot soon.

/Realm hug.

Btw if you didn't notcie for some reason i feel real happy.

People have to respect the leaders. imo
simply and most important rule.

share jobs, rams to one, public relationship :) to one, 1-2 sticks for zerg/s maybe even more.
if you need several fg:s to specialised job, aka take tower? cut some route?
etc etc one "offcier" who look after you get those gorups, need hunters to volley/doors? + assasins to clean keep inside? give to one officer job to organise hunter + sb teams and so on.

leaders job?
pre planning -> pre planning -> and hmm even more pre planning :)
-scout area
-think and try look situation as alb or hib,
-what you do in this situation?
-where you hit?
-what defend as last option?
-what route to use?
and so on.

I don't mind leading the zerg as in old days. But I can't really handle the "nice guy" part when people runs off and ignore the leader completly. And midgard has also proven what it's good for when it comes to things like bringing an extra backup ram. None ever thinks about stuff like that. Though I shouldnt say never. It happens, but not very offen.

But as I said.. I don't mind leading a zerg in true Steveh, Jamiesmalicious and Alaron spirit. And ofc a zerg like that would give NP a match in the "how to add the most" game.
