Killing an enemy in the frontier that someone else is attacking is NOT against the rules of the game, making a thread like this is both stupid and petty.

I think we know that!

Doese the rules say that we can't whine?
Doese the rules say that we can't create new rules for us?
Doese the rules say that we can't whine about some 1 not following our own rules?

BTW who the fuck cares about the rules, i always try to do what i think is the right thing to do, even if it's wrong ore right. and i think every 1 shoud do the same and that include you Tears. (nothing personal, i think all moderators shoud listen)
Sure, you have your thread rules "tools" for controling a thread, but you dont need to follow them, just use them when you think it's necessary.
To use your rules every time some 1 is breaking the thread rules is just ridiculous, your not a Bot are you?

Like they care the mods strike fear into peoples hearts *cough* with their awesome power... and i doubt the arse kissers that worship the mods will listen to you either... threads are generally closed for a good reason and i agree with tears i'm sick of seeing people whine over being added on myself :/ if it had been a bug abuse to kill someone or even speedhacking etc i wouldnt mind.. but honestly the constant "amagad you added on me while i was fighting someone11!!!! n00b!".. its pathetic.. grow up

You are currently on the legal property of someone else. This forum is NOT an official forum for every DAOC player, it´s not hosted by the guys who´re running the game and it´s not a certainty that you´re welcome here, it´s something we should appreciate.

You´re free to whine as often as you want. Just not here. Nobody is stiopping you from grabbing an orange box, bring it to your local park, step up and tell everybody how you´re feeling.

If that´s the case, then bring your opinion into the attention of Jupitus and the other admins here and let them decide and if there are enough supporters, he/they will eventually/maybe change the rules, just like they separated the grats section from the RvR forums. It´s just that you can´t demand anything or as the original poster says "make your own rules".

If it´s against an existing FH rule, then he´s just enforcing that rule and doesn´t make his own rules. It´s always pretty difficult to decide from case to case and no person is 100% objective or immune to personal tendencies. There have been some mod decisions in the past that I didn´t agree with as well. But then, this is a forum about a computergame, so it´s not worth the hassle. Try being a mod for a week and you´ll see that it´s far from easy.

Another annoying trend. The rules have nothing whatsoever that says a solo player cannot attack an enemy of his/her realm, so get over it. Threads of this nature will be closed without warning.

The way I see it, there is two factions in the community.

Those that wants what they call a fair fight and thus respect a 1v1 or 8v8 fight and seek them out themself.

And...

Those that for various reasons attacks an enemy on-sight or does whatever is needed to win over an enemy, forinstance by bringing superior numbers.

Each of these factions have their brownnoses supporting their own faction and whacking the enemies at any given oppertunity.

Mind you though, noone is clearcut in either faction. Everyone do or have at some point in the past or future been on either side of the fence.

Everyone have at some point zerged or added.
Everyone have at some point been frustrated by being zerged or added upon.

Either side is completely within the rules of Camelot, noone is breaking any rules. Each side will force it's own playstyle on the others. Either by being frustrated (possible yelling) at the other, or simply by adding in or zerging in.



Now, the only major difference is, that only one of the factions can moderate this, the de facto english EU Camelot community forum.

So what tactic is it to create a thread specifically to list the names of people who decide to attack any enemy in the frontier ? That thread had no place on these forums, was vindictive and nasty.

Edit : I couldnt give two hoots if any RvR group joins in on my fight, or my group leader says to move on and leave them. Its been said in numerous other forums and threads here that that both play styles are fine and in line with the rules of the game. What is starting to piss me off is the constant "add whine" in every bloody thread.

i'm not sure if i'm wrong here, but i think the mods enforce the CoC rather then their own personal agenda. although i do agree that it can be rather rough at times. there are times a good and interesting discussion is locked because of one or two remarks.

I think you are reading something that does not exist. The thread was closed as it breaches many of the rules for posting here on these forums.
