Client Crash = "Can only run 2 client" msg

If one of my clients crashed when I've got 2 running I generally get the annoying message "You can only run 2 clients, you may need to reboot" or something along those lines.
Anyone know if there is a file or process you can remove/halt that stops the client thinking there are 2 clients active when in reality there is only 1?

i get that too although sometimes it will let me get away with it an others it wont. would also be interested if theres a way round rebooting cos its a pain in the ass tbh

Do alt-ctrl-del and manually shut down game.dll . That should do the trick - it does for me.

ye ive been told that but im kinda confused as according to that theres only one running yet my comp thinks there is two...:S
