Help clicky hdd with a few bad sectors

dunno why but i am having problems with 3 seagate 1.5tb hdds all 3 have began to click and show bad sectors and fail a few test in seatools. accsesing things on each drive is at times very slow. ive tried copying the hdds to new hdds ive got via acronis but this fails and manualy copying my data to the new hdd fails as well. even tried freezing them and trying but no go

preety much have lost hope with em unless peeps have suggestions

Maybe something like SpinRite? Never really used it, but that or some other similar utility may help.

Sounds like they're going to go through the floor Yaka. If you can't get an image off them I'd suggest you start moving the files with something like Teracopy (that can run CRC checks afterwards and will log what moved and what didn't).

time for the bin dude, or RMA at best. I had a bad batch of 750GB's a year or two ago. all failed within a year of purchase.

Seagate have caught the Maxtor-aids. Recover data and bin them. It's not like replacement drives are expensive :)
