From what I remember its just random fights from 1 Saturday. That day you werent so lucky

PV had an excuse for that fight (they usually do ) - in the unlikely event that the group chat is readable youll see what we thought of it

If its up to me, they (meaning rest of the PV members) wont make up excuses to why we lost... Yes in that fight we where waiting for an LD... It happens, stuff still went wrong...

Then I look at how many RA's where used on GoL's side, and I'm thinking, we didnt do that bad... Even as 7... I mean, its RR7-11 vs RR4 (I think we where at that time)...

But hey, if you think beating RR4's (or even RR5's) is worth mentioning in a video with (much) higher rr's... Thanks

Anyways, Alb isnt gimped, never has been gimped... I think we did pretty well in NO/TB, at sometime I do think we had the best albion caster team (pre-toa)... But it takes more effort to run an alb-caster group compared to hibs (group purge) and mids (ae-stun)... Yes, AE-Stun helps a ton, defo when PBAoE'ing, but if you watch the vid, only sterling runs in to pbaoe, reason for that is simple... Bolio LD'd and we where waiting for him...

Amazingly enough, Alb-debuff groups are (for us) one of the harder group-types to kill... When facing good groups, you almost never are able to get all the sorcs in 1 mez... Which in return results in most of our group getting mezzed... The good groups are usually also the ones with a ton of ra's at their disposal...

Now I do feel flattered that Nervion felt the need to mention us in his vid, even though it wasnt in a 'good' way... Boosting that his group beat an RR5 group, because 'we screwed up'... But if we'd kill his group each and everytime, what would be the challange in playing mid...

For all that think that mid is 'so overpowered', try playing RR1-5 mids vs RR8-11 albs/hibs...

I dont see why debuff-groups, couldnt have run pre-toa... Its not like they use 'so much toa abilities' like bodyguard, etc... Heck, if anything... Toa (with the banelord stuff) made it a little harder for them...

Yes, albs have the hardest time making groups, but... their not gimped...

anyone who plays a fixed grp can have relative success on any realm. doesnt take away the fact that alb is gimped (compared to mid + hib). for starters :

apart from the obvious differences of overpowered individual classes (savage, bonedancer, etc.) and what is supposed to be a prodominantly tank realm havin the highest delve PBAE.... mid also has fewer classes. 3 to be precise, this means on alb the utility of the realm is spread out over 14 classes to midgards 11. also alb is the only realm where not only 1 of its healers doesnt have ae CC but both (cleric and friar). both mid and hibs two main healers have ae CC, not to mention insta ae cc which alb lacks completely. When ToA came out the inclusion of soj to a healers ML ability list was just a piss take, now not only did they have ae stun, insta ae cc (which was and is used to devastating effect in pbae grps) but they had 3x FZ also...
