cleric melee damage

apparently it was a cleric waking a nightshade over the head, not sure if these are with champion weapon styles or not.

seems a bit high for a cleric...

With a good weapon. Capped str and buffs. High enh for the extra Dam buff they can do ok dam. Story dont tell if he had his back turned and was unbuffed. The problem for cleric melee is to hit the darn bugger at all. Not so much the dam.

Cleris should hit for 50ish on leather/studded users without SC. Wtih strength and quickness capped I used to hit for 75-100ish. This cleric has most probably had a necro AF debuff the target for him as this increases damage by a LOT. Have meleed yellow con hero for 350 before with capped quickness. The only problem is finding room in a group for a necro
