Yes its RVR zone, but theres also playing with respect and honour. I personally dont kill greys as a rule(unless they attack me first). No point, if they dead or alive they can still report your presence. Its a game. If thats the way u play RVR in df or in any frontier, then u have just seriuosly lost any respect I have for you as both a DAOC player and also as a moderator(not as if u will care)

The people i will respect are the people who go out and kill and fight on a fair basis, not the people who brag about omg i just killed a grey or even a fg of greys. sheesh was the word that did it.

I work for a large multinational company as an IT manager I have greykilled in the past I have repeat killed on more than one occaision, if I were a moderator of these forums would you have lost respect for me in IRL as a moderator/player?

I really wonder about the substances people take these days.

Hope you get my points. Killing greys and xp-killing other people is a personal decsision. You either do it, or not. But whatever you decide to do, it doesn´t mean a goddamn thing, it´s just a part of the game. If you want to avoid it, don´t xp in RvR zones. NOT killing grey cons is a nice gesture and deserves props etc. But that doesn´t mean we should and can EXPECT people to save them. There is no such thing as a fair basis in RvR. 99% of all fights are not being fought on even grounds. A RR11 char fighting a RR1 char is as ridiculous and unfair as a lvl 50 killing a lvl 35 char.

Tbh I don't care to be ganked while in combat with mobs or other players, but it's a pain yes, and sometimes it takes the piss coz you can't fight back
As for grey's, I kill them on sight, it says Enemy to your realm = dead enemy

Last, it's your own problem .. you knew he was standing beside you for 15 mins? Right, why the F*ck didn't you move then? Either he would have killed you and you didn't have to get your conc back, nor exp.. or he would have let you go?

Fingo didn't come here bragging. Someone came here whining they'd been killed in an RvR zone. Personally, I tend not to kill greys because it's a bit easy, but I'd never knock those who do - it's all part of the game. You get extra rewards as a lowbie for XPing in DF, because it's a high-risk area. If you can't accept that means you'll die, then really you're expecting to get the reward and complaining about the risk.

Pfff, I've had both Mids and Hibs XP kill me along the weary way. And I've had both XP kill me THEN spam /laugh. And I've had both spare me.

But I used to play with greys and have some fun with them, help them by mezzing extra mobs when they were xp'ing and in trouble... and you know what? Every time they'd be on /as calling out as many level 50's the possible the gank the hell out of me.

Or there was the time I caught a yellow and a blue - think it was some caster type PLing his shammie bot. I waited stealthed while they were pulling, so I didn't give either of them an xp death... then attacked and killed the caster. Just as I killed the caster, a mob popped right on top of the blue shammy and attacked him. Now I knew this would mean an XP death for him, so I gave it a whack and pulled the mob away from the blue. Sensibly, he started to run... then turned and started deseasing me or DoTing me or something equally nasty, and stood there hoping for the XPs. So I stunned the mob, and started hitting him instead, figuring that there was no way I was going to let him get free RPs WHEN I'D TRIED TO BE NICE.

The lesson was simple: enemies are enemies. Kill em all, let Odin sort them out

That comment is on topic and in regard to grey killing because its saying that when anything goes, anything related to grey killing goes aswell. Just forget about it and move on, I grey killed someone who had just logged on, its all fair, you take the portal to df, you take the risk with you.
