Clans please read

Hello all, season 3 has had a pretty good start so far but we're still spending alot of time correcting problems. Many clans are new and so we understand that but it only takes a few minutes of your time to read and make sure you understand what to do.

First, please read the rules page on BW MOH League website: http://leagues.barrysworld.net/bwmohl/rules.php

It's very important you understand and comply to these, don't want your team penalised or forfeit the match.

We're having problems with the screen shots before matches, please can you pull down your console, type:

path

then press enter, then type:

dir

and press enter again. You MUST make sure that it displays the following (the location upto the MOHAA folder will be different if you chose a location when you installed MOHAA:

Current search path:
C:\Program files\EA Games\MOHAA/main
C:\Program files\EA Games\MOHAA\main\pak6.pk3 (104 files)
etc. etc. etc.
>dir
Directory of C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA
<file listing here etc. etc.>

It IS VERY IMPORTANT you make sure that it lists the MOHAA folder, not ending in \EA GAMES\ or \EA GAMES\MOHAA\main\maps if it displayes this type the following commands:

To go up a folder (from MOHAA\main\ to MOHAA\ ) type:

cd ..

if your in MOHAA\main\maps type this twice:

cd ..
cd ..

if you are in \EA GAMES\ type:

cd MOHAA

once your in the right folder type:

path

press enter then:

dir

and press enter. Make sure you can see the complete listing from >path to the bottom of the dir listing. Then press F12 to capture it.

At this point, press ALT + Enter to change MOH to a window and then you can ALT + TAB to iView (which you started up before MOHAA). You can then use iView to open your \MOHAA\main\screenshots and open and check your screenshot was taken correctly. once it's ok please right-click it and save it as a .jpg called yournick_axis.jpg or yournick_allies.jpg depending on which you are for that round. This is done for the begining of both rounds.

You must then send this file to your clan's leader, DO NOT send them to admins unless specifically asked to do by an admin.
At the end of the match, the clan leader must zip them together (zip preferred than rar) and emailed to one of the admins on during your match.

The clan leader must be in IRC before and after the match, to make sure the admins get these screens and to make sure everything went ok with the match.



It's alot, but once you do it once, it's not hard to remember in future.

Do you actually want people to check screenies during a match?

Well, you should have a good idea of what you screen shot is showing.
There is an example on the rules page.

Because renan is voted in we will still have to use screens this for this map. So brush up on screens please.

Counter Intelligence will take screen shots BW, couldn't you just use that and take them yourselves?

read the detail in which Anidante explains screen shots. The type of screenshot isnt anything that a program like CI can do.
