My aunt's sister is married to Hugh Grant's brother ...

... oh yes and I'll be on a BBC programme later in the year called Design of the Decades where I talk with great knowledge about pacman - one to set your videos for kids!

Well my auntie is good friends with peggy galagher, and to a lesser extent my mum is as well.

Another auntie was a director of Sony(previously worked for CBS, Epic)...

so due to that.....

Met Cindy Lauper, yazz, sonia, a few blokes from the bill, the frizzy-haired bird from ghost-train, phillipa forrester, gaz top(from motormouth, a few guys from everton(watson lent my sister his binoculers(sp), jordan and jon knight from nkotb.

I think thats it!

Also my sister worked as a secretary for a while and nearly hung up on ian brodie.

One of my friends lived with two members of 'Meanwhile back in communist russia'(not the girl) and I sort of met them.

I did part of Emma Bunton's solo tour as guitarist.

I also did a few gigs in universities as stand in guitarist for the ex lead singer of Hepburn, whatever she was called.

*hides*

The only vaguely credible one is that I have a credit on the forthcoming Turin Brakes album.

I used to do "yoof" radio spots on BBC Radio Sheffield before joining the RAF.

Met Paddy Ashdown when he visited our base in Croatia.

Met John Noakes in 1976 (rah! but he didnt have Shep with him! boo hiss!)

Told David Blunkett's dog to stop fucking pissing on my squad's APC in Bosnia.

Told David Pleat that he was a fucking shit manager.

Brother was in shit indie band and now produces shit records that occasionally get in the charts.

And finally (and I shit you not) my Great Grandma was the Grandma Walton of that lovely American family show The Waltons.

edit: shit typo

Hmm.

The back of my head was in the intro to a children's gameshow on ITV. So was my hand.

My uncles did voiceovers and writing in the original Rex the Runt series. They also wrote and designed the accompanying book. I'm pretty proud of that one, Rex the Runt was fucking cool.

I used to go out with the daughter of the director/producer of the kids proggy 'Rag dolly Anna'.

Had piccy taken with Raymond Baxtor (old guy from Tomorrows World).

Parents used to party with Rick Wakeman.

Uncle lives in the opposite flat to Norman Wisdom so my folks occassionally pop in for tea and biccies (splendid chap so they say).

I bumped into Alexandra O'neil a number of years ago, went to one of his gigs, popped out and for a smoke and he was jogging around outside.

Sat at a table opposite the woman who plays/ed Cindy Beal in East Enders.

Oh and recently went to Mars :)

Actually I always forget this but this guy is a good mate of mine...

Hes done loads of TV and theatre... plus he was in the Saint with Elizabeth Shue and Val Kilmer

When I say I forget, its only cause he hates talking about it and will never tell you what hes got coming up or is currently involved in.
