basically means packet loss. You are losing information over your dialup.

I don't get that error anymore but i used to when I had an interanl 56k win modem type of thing, got a ping of 300 regular, now I get a ping of 150 - 170 with my external Diamond modem, at least I did on Wireplay, hopefully it'll be the same here now Wireplay is almost dead

You'd think cable would sort that problem. Sometimes when your isp is fecked and the routings all over the place it just happens.
Yeah tweaking your config will help, but at the end of the day if your dial up is shat you'll have to change it.

only prob i have had is once with routing but that was server based, cause everyone was suffering

I hear that only using one channel in ISDN works better. Means the card doesnt have to bind the two channels.

Lol there's NO difference in using two lines when using a isdn connection for gamming. Not only that it's difficult finding a isp that supports 2lines anyway. I allways frigged bt's 24/7 by using to computers to download as they didn't allow bonded channels Kinda sucks, but the only isp i ever used for a bonded channel was freeserve, and that cost me a local callrate doubled and then at peak times i didn't work anyway.
