I expect a response from United, if they can't raise themselves for this one then they don't deserve it.

Park should have banged it in. Lovely shot and cross from him. He has been the best united player so far.

I dont think it should be 2-0 though. Deco have had some great chances aswell. I wish eto'o would get subbed for Henry.

That was a classic Scholes goal. The moment he struck it I was cheering. He hasnt done it lately, but my god he picked a good time to step up.

The first leg was dull fest 2008, this though, well it hard to get a breath becasue it is end to end.

We giving them a bit too much space at time, and maybe overcommiting however I still feel we gonna need the second goal just to get a bit of breathing space. Predicted the team that scores first would win, so hopefully we will go on and win it.... but certainly cant rule barcelona out yet, and Messi is looking like he could pull something out the bag

That was disappointing from both teams, especially man united considering both teams form this season. I think they were lucky to get that goal but i'm glad to see scholes smacking them in like he used to. Think Barcelona playd fairly poorly but Manu were even worse, liverpool style football doesnt suit them. Ronaldo was barely to be seen, Messi was great, tevez was ridiculous though, i'd love to see his distance covered.

Im saying it because he has been the best player so far. He's all over the pitch.

The referee is fucking shit.

The referee had a very good game in my opinion, maybe one or two strange bookings but generally he had a good game.

Man of the match... as much as I would like to say scholes.... I will say Tevez. He was tireless, charged about chasing every ball. was up top and at the back.

Park had a decent match defencively, Carrick improved vastily from the past few matches. THe defense was immense. All in all it was a good team performance and I am delighted :)

Good game, felt that Barca was the better team. Now I just need my team to get through and then we can beat Manu again, 2-1 like the premiership!

Btw, Ronaldo is my Drogba. Christ, hes a fucking baby.

Only moral victory I can claim from that is once again Messi outshone Ronaldo.

Apart from that, nothing much to say really and certainly no complaints. By far our two best players over both legs were Messi and Toure.

me thinks notes, wont help chel$kivic :p

Somehow i do feel tho that the CL final has kinda lost it charm now, with a garantied 2 premier teams.
Felt the same back when milan played juventus.

it's just not the same when it's two teams from the same league :s

Does it matter when it's the best league in the world?

I felt like it was pretty even over the two matches and could have gone either way.. Messi was by far the best player over the 2 legs imo! Just a shame he doesn't have the stamina to keep the pace for an entire game

Viva Ronaldo
Viva Ronaldo
Running down the wing
Hear United sing
Viva Ronaldo

Defence was quality tonight without Vida.

Hopefully that will now get us buzzing for West ham saturday!
