i was just wondering who will be leading the first ever CL1 raid, i know us albs have some good ml leaders, but which one of them will be the first to try a cl raid

i'll be running random raids on monday nights after my ML1-10 series, including the AC dragon (Xani), Champion Levels, Caer Sidi, Legion (and beyond) and anything else people want...

my time is limited to monday nights for leading raids though... is the only night i know i can play uninterupted for a good length of time...

it has chapter 1 and 2 walkthourghs on (ps CL stuff is soloable or 1 grp max) on us server most peeps go to the capital city and do

Its true i think i read it in the friday news you have to get some CLxp or something i didnt exactly understand. So you wont be insta CL5 but you wont have to complete the quests more than once.

chapter 1 + 2 u can complete solo mostly, if you can solo a red. if not do duos etc, a fg is a bit overkill.

there isnt such thing as a cl1 raid, if u complete chapters 1 + 2 (lots n lots of quest) u get your champ weap, BUT you are still cl0. once u have finished these u can repeat the co5 quest with a fg, and keep gaining high clxp until u go up. best way to gain clxp is to rvr really, personally on release day im gonna speed through all the quests (as i just need the weap to finish my template xd) then do some hardcore solo rvr and get cl5 asap

and no, u have to do it on all your characters in order to get cl5 on each (as technodave was obviously taking the piss)

If you are level 50, you don't need to do any CL quests. Just talk to your class trainer, then talk to the king. After that, all you need is CL XP.

But you wont get your weapon until CL5, if you go that way.

So if i take just 1 PvE t00n on a CL raid, all my t00ns will be CL5?

No... that was a misunderstanding, due to weird wording in the Friday news.

In order to become CL5 every of your chars has to get the necessery CL XP.
However, none of your chars (once lvl 50) needs to do the CL quests...

two ways to get to CL5:

PVE: get xp

RVR: get rps (and therefore xp)

To speed up getting to CL5:

1. do the quests
chapter 1 is soloable unless you suck/are entirely support class
chapter 2 is probably not soloable at the end, bring a group
chapter 3 can be done with a group but if your group sucks you can take more and have people take turns killing the circle of five while the other groups clear adds.

quests give about 2.5 _levels_ of champ quest xp - most of which is from the third quest.

Champion weapons you get either on attaining CL5 from being stuck to a necro's arse for a week or at the start of chapter 3 of the quests. Note that the weapon you get in chapter 3 doesn't have all the abilities till you finish chapter 3.

so: for those of you that like buying expansions and then not actually playing in them: TALK TO THE KING then forget the expansion exists and you'll ding CL5 eventually unless all you're doing is crafting or yakking with your mates.


To answer the original poster: I'd be surprised if people had to organise CL1 raids .....

maybe a CLXP raid - go avalon city and kill things or something... hrm
