can anyone recommend me any good resources for learning about Cisco networking concepts?

Have accepted a job offer so need to learn pretty sharpish. Don't get me wrong, they know I'm a Cisco newbie (I've not blagged it or anything ). Would rather just hit the ground running.

Wow! Cheers - That would be excellent. Far more than I was expecting when I made that post.

You'll really need a verified login of your own to get much use and learn at a decent rate as most of the updated cisco.com learning materials are interactive. They have just rolled out a bunch of new CBTs I'm getting a few of my guys to go over at present... and from what I've seen of it so far they're finding it far easier to get on with than the old black and white document style approach.

edit://register a cisco.com account and send me a PM - there are a few resources I can send you links to which are free to access, there are also a few which are paid and we have monthy quotas on which I may be able to help you with depending on time...
