£300 budget, what do I want? I had initially thought of getting another SSD but decided to hang fire a few months and pick up a 480GB Corsair Neutron (which is well over budget).

Ideally I'd like something that's a meaningful PC upgrade but atm I'm maxing out at 60 fps in BF3 with max settings and that's the most strenuous game I throw at this PC so not sure I could justify splurging on a new graphics card or processor just yet.

I've still got 1.5GB of mass storage available so new hard disk is out... I wanted the SSD to be able to have ALL my games on it as opposed to just windows, but did the maths and figured that I'm best off waiting until I can get the 480GB one....

I've got a decent mouse and headphones so can't justify replacing them.

I was thinking perhaps monitor but doubt you can get something that does 2560x1440 ish for £300....? I'd have liked new speakers but couldn't justify something expensive given that the mrs goes nuts at any sort of game-noise (hence nice headphones already owned).

I bought my current monitor from ebay importanted from korea. Best thing I ever did. Crazily cheap price and uses the same panel that is used in monitors costing over £800
The display is brilliant if all you want to do is shove in a DVI or VGA cable.

There;s a huge thread on another forum where someone discovered these and then about 1000 all went and bought this one or similar. Really recommend it if you need a decent monitor. Good resolution too (2560x1440)
