Gotta go to a mates this weekend and I'm absolutely bereft of ideas for it. It's a totally alien concept to me - whatever I buy kids I hate and think is utter shit - because it generally is.

I was just about to say that, your describing Kaplunk. @Scouse when my mates kids were that age, I just used to get the clothes, Next kids stuff was usually the best place to get them due the selection, and they can be taken back if they're not right

Ok, so we got the kids sorted. What will you be giving parents, siblings, spouses etc.?

Every year we make a calendar using some of the family photos we've taken throughout the year. We use VistaPrint as they always gives a 50% discount around Christmas. And the family loves it. At first it was only for our parents and grand parents, but then the aunts and uncles wanted one as well and two years ago my brother, probably the most materialistic person I know, hinted that all he wished for was a calendar

It is just an idea. It is easy, personal, we sort it out in November and we won't need to go Christmas shopping in December
