2nd time you have told me to shut up? or that chocolate and bacon go together? Either way, this is the 2nd time I have ignored you, obviously :p
I like the bacon and maple syrup combo...specially on pancakes!

err yes, and both times had to do with food! so, while I respect your decision to say a choccy/bacon combo is teh yucky, I uphold the internets lawls given rights to claim that you are wrong based on the fact that your opinion differs from mine! :p

(srsly though, I am joking and was joking the first time too, in case you didn't notice)

I made some of this last night. It tasted like hot, salty chocolate, not a flavour I was keen on. I think it may have been better using less chocolate so the bacon flavour could come through so I may use what's left to experiment further. For reference last night's chocobacon was 6 slabs dark chocolate to 4 rashers unsmoked bacon.

No pictures I'm afraid. My camera was dead and I didn't want the chocobacon to go cold while I hunted out fresh batteries.

Savoury and sweet combinations are always great :)

Quite, though if you're planning on mixing hot foods with chocolate, don't put the chocolate on the dish when it's steaming hot.

Best results would be to let the bacon to drop to roomtemp(or a bit higher depending) and then wrap the bacon around the chocolate.

You'd get a bacon roll with a nice chocolate filling :p

I'm not much of a bacon fan, though that's just 'cause every damn time someone makes it, it's crispy as TdCs underwear.

Haha, wtf. If anything chocolate is a women thing?
I love bacon, but i must say dipping it in disgusting feminine chocolate ruins it!

I'm not quite willing to go that far, but I'll say nearly as crispy as my bo><><ors is certainly the way to go :)

Yeah, maybe crispy is a bad word for it.

What i've been handed really needs proper "crunch crunch" to eat, and i don't think that's how you guys make it....or is it? :eek7:

that doesn't actually look half bad.

Not the crispy crap i've been served, more like a slice of meat with some light potato chip crispy qualities :D

Have to say I was expecting minute chopped up bits of bacon in a block of choc that had been chilled. Would be much more appealing to me :)

Looks like poor baconaterating skills there Teeds. Streaky bacon has its uses but I'm more a back bacon guy. It's all about how it's been smoked. Current fave is Black Bacon - just so yummy.
