No it doesn't. Japanese is statistically the most common spoken language in the world and they have no gender at all in their every day language. (political correctness gone mad, some might say)

I actually can read and speak japanese ( I kinda suck at kanji, but I can read hiragana and katakana perfectly ).

I was under the impression that English was the most spoken language (I thought the chinese taught it in school), but that mandarin was the most spoken first language, due to the sheer numbers of chinese.
