Now I dont like Ken Bates, but his press conference against Chelsea for tapping up was inspired.

He made very very good points, and I hope that if indeed there were illegal approaches made by Chelski, that punishments are in line with what Bates spelled out.

For those that did not see it, Bates pointed out that financial penalties are pointless to Chelsea. To discourage Chelsea from this behaviour in the future, and protect clubs from losing players unfairly, that Chelsea should face, points penalties or withdrawal from competitions. This would then make Abromovich face a problem he could not solve with money, and force him to get his house in order.

Yep he is spot on. Roman seems to be running the show as if it were in Russia, dodgy backroom meetings and illegal approaches.

May not be tomorrow, next week or next year. But that guy is going to get found out soon.

And Chelski will be brought crashing down to earth.

Aye, what worries me if that we are hearing lots of stuff already about dodgy dealings. Makes you wonder what other skeletons are in the closet.

Normally I would agree but Chelsea have already been found to have tapped up 3 players in the last year, granted they only got punished for 1 but the point has been made. Chelsea are systematically making illegal approaches to players even after repeated warnings from the governing bodies.

Well they got done for Mikel as well :) It's interesting that Rune Hauge works for Chelsea.
