Hi all, I want a cheap and small solution to get Iplayer, 4od, 5 on demand and maybe Netflix into a tv.

Needs to have Wi-Fi.

I'm thinking an android sick maybe the easiest way? It's for a kitchen tv.

Suggestions?

Got a dual core 4gb, they do lock up randomnly and sometimes don't like various thumb drives, but I am using a cheap USB tree and you'll need a wireless mouse, there are problems using the browser for TV streaming and the apps sometimes don't like the hardware.
Catchup TV started saying this version of android wasn't supported, but that seems fixed now.
4OD works, but it doesn't always stream and just looks at you.

The android sticks are still very buggy. I was going to get one myself for the bedroom tv. Decided on a WDTV box instead.

Got one. Useless mate. Does iPlayer and Demand 5. Only any use at mine because you can load Plex onto it. Problem is Plex is a client server system so unless you're gonna run Plex server on something mate, not worth it.

If she only wants iPlayer then do it mate. Comes with a remote, it's £10 and yeah it does WiFi. Plus its just a little hockey puck thing.

It won't be anything hackable going forward though because Roku are very smart with their update delivery system its all done with certificate signing, etc.
