I've been creating custom XML based signatures for members of our guild and they seem to be working well now, however someone has just asked why they don't display crafting information. This is a good question because I'm not sure why. I can't seem to find anywhere in the XML files GOA provide for us crafting level information aside from the "top 5 in guild" parts. Does anyone know where I could find it? I know it must be there because http://www.daoc-stats.com provides information on crafters (in addition to various other stats that I can't find).

At the moment I am able to see:

http://camelot-europe.goa.com/herald/servers/Prydwen/guilds/973.xml (basic guild info)

http://camelot-europe.goa.com/herald/servers.xml (detailed server info)

http://camelot-europe.goa.com/herald/nb_connected.xml (connection numbers)

http://camelot-europe.goa.com/herald/servers/Prydwen/guilds/guilds_alb.xml (per realm guild information)

Am I missing some of the XML files? Is there a way of telling what the crafting level of each individual character is? Even telling the sex of each character?

<character name="Boney Gravedigger" laston="3_Days">
<race>Highlander</race>
<class>Armsman</class>
<level>50</level>
<guildrank>0</guildrank>
<totalrp>316797</totalrp>
<lastweekrp>0</lastweekrp>
<anon>True</anon>
<weaponcraft>1075</weaponcraft>
<armorcraft>655</armorcraft>
<tailoring>428</tailoring>
</character>

Not sure how you tell the sex of the character.. if it isn't like "hunter" and "huntress"

Duh I am a fool :) The first few people in the guild don't have any crafting skills so it isn't showing up (obviously) and was confusing me. I'd still be interested to know how daoc-stats.com figure out the sex of the character though if anyone knows. Thanks for the help Urme.

im quite sure the sex is based on the class name, my female druid shows up as male, but a female chanter ( Enchantress ) shows up as female.
So its probably based on the class name.

it doesn't..its just uses the different class names Sorceror Sorceress, Enchanter Enchantress, Hunter Huntress for class like cleric or scout it doesn't work...thus daoc stats labels them all as male.

For example it kicks up my scout Thya as male...when its a she :)

edit: nerf getting stuck on the phone to a suer who doesn't speak any english except 'Password not work!' got beaten to the post :/

Ah yes :mad: Thanks for all of the help, I suppose I'll just keep clear of trying to work out sex from class name and go with adding crafting skills instead.

Most German class/race names do have male/female variations.

Cleric / Kleriker / Klerikerin
Briton / Bretone / Bretonin
Scout / Kundschafter / Kundschafterin

daoc-stats ends up guessing the sex for the combinations it can't tell, which is the majority for English XML files.
