er...

I thought it was pretty frikking stupid being constantly backended by middies whilst fighting in emain for the last 2 weeks. The one question on my mind was why they(middies) didn't invade while we(albs & hibbies) were beating each other down?

Obviously they did, took relics and by all accounts deserve some form of recognition for a job well done. After they got the relics away safely, hibernia joined them and although this by all reports was a formal alliance, I think it would have been bloody stupid of Hib not to take the opportunity to invade anyway. Think about it logically, it is good strategy to take advantage of a situation like this.

Been sitting defending keeps for the last 2 weeks, even had the pleasure of defending cruach with 1 other person(hatchett harry) and getting our arses kicked, my alliance would have jumped at the opportunity to return the compliment. If I was there, alliance or no alliance, we would have attacked.

Not really no.

Middies get 2 relics in less than an hour. Fair enough but not 2 impressive, been there done thet :p

A few hours later Hibbies the come to Alb at the same time as more Middies.

Hardly good strategy as by then all the Alb alts have logged and loads of lvl 50's and others are w8ing at Excali.

Hibbies and Middies then take a few keeps, regularly get wiped and even loose the keeps when they try to defend (top tip when you take a Merchant Keep upgrade the doors another good Hibbie strategy and don't just stand on the walls facing out when the doors go down, was smiting 2 yellow furbies facing the wrong way at one keep when we got in very crap stategy).

A good tactic would have been if the Middies let you come to Alb and then shafted you by taking your power Relic :p

doesn't matter how many people logged their alts, the principal remains the same, wreak havoc amongst the chaos, a divided alb force is much easier to defeat.

It would have been pretty good strategy for middies to shaft hibs but I am not a middie, so I would be pretty stupid to suggest that strategy.

The other option would be to attack mid, but considering they have a large force on the field already, that would be pretty stupid too...which once again leaves me with the alb's, who have been harrassing us at crim and crauch for 2 weeks now...sorry mate you lose.

Uhm, there was someone actually defending some of the keeps we took? Brave of them. Last I heard was a party of 5 people who got left behind (relogging while we moved) at Berkstead holding the keep for a few minutes while the rest of us moved to Renaris.

About Benowyc, after we saw the Alb army there around 2am, most of us logged. Congrats, THAT was about the biggest army I've seen so far and I've seen a couple :) Last I heard from there was Eleasias and Hing planning on building a catapult to have some fun before the doors would go down. We don't give a rat's arse about your merchant keep. Hell, we don't give a rat's arse about Crauchon. Easy come, easy go.
