yes i agree with you but how regually is it in a fight where u go more than 10 seconds without power? the other caster would also have sash up and if you also have chanter epic sleeves u can switch them in and also use charge on them then switch back then use a pot thats 45% power in 5 seconds while in combat gues i dont have to explain this to u thoe;) but yes the differance will be noticable but all i can do is test and see wt template i like the most how much power pool has your dr temp got?

well this is the template im working around at this moment. im not 100% sure if I wanna change some stuff. CB is useless on a template for me since I use mordoms so much (traded mcl2 for mcl1 & wp5).

Hmm...a nice template...

A nice template...what items you use is irrelevant as long as you achive the stats and utility you are after.

The things you miss in the template in my opinion is:

Matter resists are gimped (warlocks might be nerfed but still)
Some HP cap...atleast 40-80 (standard is 40 nowdays) but still getting up to atleast 1500+ hp is kinda nice since that will allow you to take e 500 damage hits without dying)

And I still havent gotten this to work myself but Im trying really really hard to get some duration into my template too!:)

ps. But cinder sleeps could probably be swaped by foppish sleeves with some better results if you do some changes ds.

Some HP cap...atleast 40-80 (standard is 40 nowdays) but still getting up to atleast 1500+ hp is kinda nice since that will allow you to take e 500 damage hits without dying)

And I still havent gotten this to work myself but Im trying really really hard to get some duration into my template too!:)

I agree but I prefere to lower heat instead of matter atm (when next patch grows closer ill prolly switch those two resists though...).

I tend to run into more warlocks doing matter damage than I run into firewizzes that actually use their nuke button (the bolts apparently isnt affected by heatresists but are more af based)

then I thnk yr first one with 35% power is better.. I mean the difference is:

mine having:
-16 hits
-4% body
-5% cold
-1% heat
-6% matter
-4% crush
-1 dex

and insteed having
+3% poower pool
+40 AF (!)
+6% thrust
+1% slash

so you either go for A) or B). I personaly prefere B for major dmg reduction when taking some meleedmg compared to some magic dmg I never get affected by.. cant remember the last time I got nuked down.. but then again I play verry offensive on tanks way back in fights.

Good point u should never be nuked down by lets say grawen unles u have bad positioning but you do make a valid point i would consider using your temp but never seen that bracer around

staj/mikos is right if i saw a chanter template and immediatly saw it had no less than 11 light then i wouldnt even consider looking at it

It will still have an effect on spec nukers aswell tho, at least it does on my menty/SM.

hmm gues with the dr hits increase it wont make to much of a differance, but having 0-10 heat resists wont be the best thing ever staj

bolts from wizards are not reduced much by heat resist, and not that often you get nuked by fire wizards or heretics.

At the moment you just dont get hit by heat nukes at all. And the bolts damage isnt reduced anything at all by heat resists. (Tried it out by running with 0 heat resist for a while...and absolutly no difference what so ever...AF changed the damage ALOT from the bolts though! So Stajs 50 af will prolly do 10 times more use than the 15 % heat resist loss he has)

ps. Atm im only working around 5-10 % heat resist templates...another thing with heat resist is that you Always have it from your druids when rvring. Which is not the case with spirit, energy and body.

Lets just hope that no one from stealthers are us is reading this or that low heatresist might just hurt me badly when they pull out their old crafted heat weapons from the malthbag!:)

Have you tried it out ? I seem to foggily remember that there is a hardcap for AF on casters around 650 or somewhere. (Which if Im not misstaken you reach alot earlier than + 50 to AF)

Did test effect of template AF and it seems to still do nada, at least for casters, as does champ weapon +10% AF charge (display value changes ofc).

works since latest patch.

There is no AF hardcap either, I get 666 AF with current template with AF charge + SoK. I have 635 with just charge, and having over 650 wont be a problem.

It's supposed to, I'm not conviced it does/has been fixed. Didn't do anything when tested couple of weeks ago with bainshee boltconing me in duel (pretty easy to equip/unequip 2 ring of brutes to test AF). AF with +50 AF, champ charge and spec AF is 705 or so, more if u cba to piss about with stardrop...but only spec AF and self-AF shields seem to change the damage taken.

/edit tbh posted this b4 and suprised no one either shot me down for being full of shit or otherpeeps not making a bigger deal of it somewhere (if I'm right). Seems pretty big deal when fixing templates, 50AF is 7-8% or so less melee/bolt damage and with trouble peeps go to to sort out templates, if it's all a waste of time...
